Brown Rat


Weighing about 500g, with the tail longer than head / Body; they have a thick tail, with fine hairs and a blunt snout. Their droppings are in groups, although sometimes scattered, raisin shaped. They commonly climb, live in burrows and gnaws daily. They can also swim and live indoors and outdoors. They are known to live in sewers

They are capable of reproducing at about three months

Commensal rodents like the food we like, both processed and unprocessed. Therefore wherever food is stored, processed or served, rodents are likely to want to be present
